THE YELLOW SHIFT DRESS

I'm all about wearing simple easy dresses in the summers and I absolutely love this cheerful yellow shift dress. It just screams summer !!(hello yellow)

 Shift dresses are my personal favourite as it makes me look thin, tall enough and I like to style it with variations everytime I feel like using it.

One colour I never thought I could pull off was yellow. But over time, I have tried branching out and trying different colours and I have actually come to really loving this bright hue especially in summers!

I found the fabric of this dress was wrinkle free  (I had worn this dress with lots of sitting before taking these pics). Given the unique print and affordable price made this apparel an instant buy for 
me .

I paired the dress with matching colour pumps! I love the dainty look of straps sandals and while I was a bit hesitant about the look literally screaming yellow ..I feel it did turn out to be a good match. 

You could even alternate the look with blue pumps if you like experimenting (I wish I get my hands on a good shade of blue pumps soon)

To enhance the look I tied my hair to a high pony tail. Carried a sling bag and a pair of glares to save my eyes from the scorching sun rays!

DOUBLE SLIT MAXI TOP

Hello my lovelies!!

It feels so amazing to be back with a new post after so long.I have something exciting for you all planned in my coming posts to make up for last few week’s radio-silence on the blog , it did take time because I shifted to blogger.com from my previous site and got done with my exams!

Split maxi tops are a streetwear staple this season and are available in so many different styles and fabrics. The stupendous variety in these tops make them so versatile to wear. They can be worn casually or for a formal brunch, which makes these tops a perfect addition to your wardrobe.

I bought this casual double split maxi top in black colour from KOOVS. The fabric of this top is so soft and has a casual feel to it and it ends below the knee, which makes it so chic.I have paired up this amazingly versatile top with my grey denims and a pair of  flatforms for a perfect street style. I styled my hair in the most trending hairstyle "the half knot bun"!!This look is perfect for a brunch, movie date or streetwear.

THE CLASSY LOOK....SKIRT TURNED INTO A TOPP!!

Hey Fashionistas!!!

  

As summers are round the corner and the mercury is on the rise ,the best dress items are crop tops ,tubes,baggy tees, cotton shirts, boyfriend jeans , shorts , floral.....and I could go on!!

I tried something unusual for the starters...

I have had this skirt with me for few years, unused and then in recent encounter with it I decided to use this certain piece of skirt as a Top!

Yeah you heard it right !!!!!

Off shoulders and tubes are on the trending thing now a days..

I sooooooo love the subtle turquoise hue of it.

I have teamed it with my pair of high waists from Veromoda and a classy neckpiece from Zara i picked up while travelling. The footwear was from the site www.donebynone.com

I decided to go light on make-up and opted for studio fix by M.A.C and the Russian Red for the lips again From M.A.C.

THE LDD!

Hello stunners !

Hope you all are doing good! Here I am with my second post and it pertains to “Summer Clothing”.

As the temperature’s on the rise ,one looks out for new ways of trendy styling.

So…I thought of putting together a look that involves the versatile and evergreen Denim dress!!

Denim dresses have always been my personal favourite.

It tops my hot list this summer and the best thing about it..unlike other cult pieces this season is that it goes easy on the pocket and is perfect for every style and body shape!!

Based on how you style it ,you could wear it either during the day or even for an evening event.

You just have to choose whether you want to rock a casual look or chic look.

So here are the details of how I styled my cute LDD!

I got this dress a few months ago from Myntra.

For this particular look I tried the super trendy half-knot-hair-bun.
(I could do a tutorial post on it if you guys like!)

This has been one of the hot hairstyles this season.

Highlighted my eyes using Lakme’s Iconic Kohl pencil.
I blended two lip shades from M.A.C and Sephora…they being Relentlessly Red and Sephora Rouge.
Since it was a day shoot I didn't want to go for bright tones.

 To enhance the look I accessorised it with a layered neckpeice from Pantaloons.

My quirky fish-printed  lifestyle shoes which I bought from http://www.jabong.com/women/.
Floral sling bag the same being perfect for summers which I bought on Instagram!
My Vogue Sunglasses actually helped me beat the heat of the Photo shoot! :-p
